The purpose of the summer assignment is for you get a sneak preview for the kind of work and the rigor of the AP World History curriculum. This assignment is designed to help you familiarize yourself with the long-essay-question (LEQ) format and rubric, as well as the historical reasoning skill (HRS) of analyzing historical continuity and change over time.
I recommend that you do not wait until the end of summer to begin this assignment because it will take time, energy, and self-reflection. It may seem confusing at first but I ask you to stick with it and JUST DO YOUR BEST! |
